Captain's Charity Day Rules

<p>COMPETITION FORMAT: ANY COMBINATION 18 HOLE TEXAS SCRAMBLE STABLEFORD</p>
<p>TEES: GENTLEMEN &ndash; YELLOW LADIES &ndash; RED</p>
<p>Handicap Index of 25.0 Gents and 30.0 Ladies. CDH no. required for non SFGC members</p>
<p>HANDICAP ALLOWANCE: 10%, 15%, 20% &amp; 25% FROM HIGHEST TO LOWEST COURSE HANDICAP.</p>
<p>OTHER CONDITIONS: COMPETITION ENTRIES SHALL BE IN TEAMS OF FOUR . THE TEE SHOT OF EACH MEMBER OF THE TEAM MUST BE TAKEN ON AT LEAST FOUR HOLES. WHEN ALL FOUR TEE SHOTS HAVE BEEN PLAYED, THE TEAM WILL AGREE WHICH BALL IS IN THE BEST POSITION FOR PLAYING THE NEXT SHOT. ALL FOUR SECOND SHOTS MUST THEN BE PLAYED WITHIN 6" OF THE SPOT NOT NEARER THE HOLE. THIS PROCEDURE SHALL CONTINUE WITH SUBSEQUENT SHOTS UNTIL ONE OR MORE BALLS ARE ON THE GREEN. THE TEAM WILL THEN AGREE WHICH BALL IS IN THE MOST ADVANTAGEOUS PUTTING POSITION AND ALL PUTTS WILL BE TAKEN FROM THAT EXACT SPOT. [A MARKER MUST BE PLACED ADJACENT TO THE BALL BEFORE THE FIRST PUTT IS STRUCK]. IF NONE OF THE FOUR BALLS ARE HOLED FROM THIS POSITION, THE SAME PROCEDURE SHALL CONTINUE UNTIL A BALL IS HOLED OUT. THE SCORE OF THE FIRST PLAYER IN THE TEAM TO HOLE OUT MUST BE ENTERED ON THE SCORECARD.&nbsp;Players play against their own card i.e. Yellow for Gentlemen and Red for Ladies. In the event of a tie the winner will be decided on count back over the last 9 holes, then 6, then 3, then 1 as calculated automatically via the IG System.</p>
<p>No refund within 14 days of the event.</p>
<p>Club Notes:&nbsp;The Club reserve the right to refuse an entry, or having accepted, subsequently reject an entry where, in its reasonable opinion, there is evidence to suggest that the player&rsquo;s Handicap Index does not reflect their demonstrated ability. All entries are subject to the approval of the committee, which reserves the right to disqualify any person making a false statement in their on-line entry and/or to accept or refuse or, having accepted, subsequently reject any entry without giving reasons for its decision. Where required, any entry fee will be refunded. The competition will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by R&amp;A Rules Limited and the Local Rules as approved by the committee. All visitors on the day are temporary Members and are bound by the rules of the Club. All players must register at the Golf shop on arrival. It is also the responsibility of each player to ensure that they and their equipment are adequately insured whilst at the Club. Please check that items of value are not left in the Lockers Rooms. Sherwood Forest Golf Club does not accept responsibility for items mislaid, stolen, or lost on its premises. Visitors and Members must follow reasonable guidance and instruction from SFGC Company Members of Staff at all times.</p>
