<p>COMPETITION FORMAT 18-holes Medal TEES Gentlemen - White Tees Ladies – Red Tees</p>
<p>Open to all Gentlemen and Ladies with a Handicap Index of 24.0 or less. CDH no. required for non SFGC members.</p>
<p>No refund within 14 days of the event.</p>
<p>OTHER CONDITIONS Playing Handicap 95% of Course Handicap. Under score balancing Ladies receive 1 addition shot applied after the calculation of their Playing Handicap. In the event of a tie the winner will be decided on count back over the last 9 holes, then 6, then 3, then 1 as calculated automatically via the IG System.</p>
<p>Club Notes: The Club reserve the right to refuse an entry, or having accepted, subsequently reject an entry where, in its reasonable opinion, there is evidence to suggest that the player’s Handicap Index does not reflect their demonstrated ability. All entries are subject to the approval of the committee, which reserves the right to disqualify any person making a false statement in their on-line entry and/or to accept or refuse or, having accepted, subsequently reject any entry without giving reasons for its decision. Where required, any entry fee will be refunded. The competition will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by R&A Rules Limited and the Local Rules as approved by the committee. All visitors on the day are temporary Members and are bound by the rules of the Club. All players must register at the Golf shop on arrival. It is also the responsibility of each player to ensure that they and their equipment are adequately insured whilst at the Club. Please check that items of value are not left in the Lockers Rooms. Sherwood Forest Golf Club does not accept responsibility for items mislaid, stolen, or lost on its premises. Visitors and Members must follow reasonable guidance and instruction from SFGC Company Members of Staff at all times.</p>
